Minsk Half Marathon 2026 draws more than 30,000 runners

Tanzania, Kenya, Russia and Belarus were represented among the winners and medalists in the most prestigious distances of 21.097km and 10km.

Boay Maganga of Tanzania took victory in the men’s race, clocking 1:04:23. Dmitry Soikka of Russia finished second, with Vladislav Pryamov of Belarus rounding out the top three.

The best result among the women was shown by Hilda Kiptum of Kenya (1:11:13), who edged her compatriot Cynthia Kosgei by a fraction of a second. Tatiana Shabanova of Belarus took bronze.

The best men’s result was shown by Artyom Barabanshchikov of Belarus, who ran the 10km in 30:52.

The gold medal among the women went to Veronika Vazhnik, a medalist at the recent national championship in this distance, with a result of 35:53.

The event also featured 5km and 3km races, as well as 1.5km family runs. The routes were laid past the capital’s landmarks, with runners finishing on the track of the Dinamo stadium.
