
Viktor Lukashenko has congratulated the national canoe and kayak team on their medal-winning performance at the 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships in Poznan.
“The medals won at the world championships are a symbol of strength of spirit, will to win, high professionalism, and hard work of our athletes.”
The NOC president also recognized the coaching staff, the federation, and the Olympic training center, which play a key role in unlocking the athletes’ potential and building the foundation for success.
“May the achievements of our athletes on the world stage always glorify the Belarusian rowing school and serve as a shining example for future generations of rowers, inspiring them to new accomplishments,” the message of greetings reads.

Yulia Trushkina and Inna Nedelkina - C2 200m;
Alena Nozdrava - C1 500m;
Marya Papichych - C1 5,000m;
Anhelina Bardanouskaya and Inna Nedelkina - C2 500m;
Andrei Zholabau - C1 200m.
In para-canoe, Ilya Taupianets won silver, while Anastasia Miasnikova took bronze.
