
In the women’s C2 200m final, the Belarusian duo finished with a time of 42.26 seconds, beating Uzbekistan by 0.26 seconds and China by 0.39 seconds.
They previously won this event in 2024, and have now repeated their golden double.
In total, Belarusian athletes won seven medals at the 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships:
Bronze medals went to Anhelina Bardanouskaya and Inna Nedelkina in the C2 500m, Andrei Zholabau in the C1 200m, Alena Nozdrava in the C1 500m, and Marya Papichych in the C1 5,000m.
In para-canoe, Ilya Taupianets won silver, while Anastasia Miasnikova took bronze.
More than 800 athletes from 77 countries competed at the Poznań regatta, with 25 rowers representing Belarus.
