
Belarusian athletes took part in the 2026 EWF European Youth and U15 Championships in Pristina, Kosovo.
The Belarusian team’s tally stands at 12 medals: two gold, two silver, and eight bronze. Five medals were won in the combined total (one gold, one silver, three bronze), with another seven in individual lifts (one gold, one silver, five bronze).
Both gold medals were brought by Uladzislava Lavar (U18, -61 kg). Darya Novikava (U18, -61 kg) became a two-time silver medalist. Aliaksandra Kruk (U15, -57 kg), Viktar Shchohaleu (U18, -65 kg), and Uladzislau Masiura (U15, -75 kg) each won two bronze medals. Milana Banchuk (U15, -57 kg) and Yauheni Zaleska (U15,
+85 kg) also reached the third step of the podium in the clean and jerk.
The women’s team finished fourth in the overall standings.
More than 350 young athletes from 38 countries took part in the 2026 EWF European Youth and U15 Championships in Kosovo, with 15 weightlifters representing Belarus (10 men and 5 women).
