Team gold for Belarus at pentathlon world championships in China

Belarus won the Women’s Team event at the UIPM 2026 Pentathlon World Championships in China.

In the individual events, Viyaleta Hureyeva (4th place), Mariya Gnedtchik (6th place), and Anastasiya Arol (10th place) accumulated a total of 4,356 points and claimed the title, edging out the Egyptian team (4,347). Great Britain rounded out the top three,

Blanka Guzi of Hungary earned the individual world champion title.


Thus, Team Belarus have secured a total of three medals at the UIPM 2026 Pentathlon World Championships in China.

Earlier, Anastasiya Arol and Mariya Gnedtchik won gold in the women's relay, while Viyaleta Hureyeva, alongside Yauheni Arol, claimed silver in the mixed event.
