Team Belarus applauded for great performance at world championships in China

President of the Belarusian NOC Viktor Lukashenko congratulated Team Belarus on winning medals at the UIPM 2026 Pentathlon World Championships in China.

He praised the high skill, will to win, and endurance of our athletes and also the well-coordinated teamwork of both the athletes and the coaching staff.

Viktor Lukashenko wished the team good health and strength to keep building on their achievements.

“May your sporting journey be full of bright victories and new achievements for the benefit of your dear Belarus,” the congratulatory message reads.

Our medalists:

Mariya Gnedtchik and Anastasiya Arol - gold in the Women’s Relay;

Viyaleta Hureyeva and Yauheni Arol — silver in the Mixed Relay;

The Belarusian women's national team won the Team Event gold medal based on the individual scores of the athletes from the individual women's competitions.
