Palina Konrad becomes two-time European U23 track cycling champion

Belarus’ Palina Konrad secured her second gold medal at the 2026 UEC Track Juniors and U23 European Championships in Cottbus, Germany.

To her previous victory in the elimination race, the athlete added the omnium title. In a tight battle, Palina Konrad scored 135 points, confidently outcycling her closest rivals. Messane Bräutigam of Germany claimed the silver medal with 109 points, while Denmark’s Ida Fialla clinched the bronze with 107 points.

With this achievement, Palina Konrad completed a golden double at the European championships, reaffirming the high standards of Belarusian cycling.

The 2026 UEC Track Juniors and U23 European Championships took place in Cottbus, Germany, on 7-13 July.
