“Greco-Roman wrestling is one of the most successful sports in Belarus. The potential of our athletes is even higher than their results on the international arena. We are ready to do everything in our power in terms of training, creating conditions, providing pharmacological support, and so on. For maximum effectiveness, feedback is crucial.”

Belarusian Sports Minister Sergei Kovalchuk emphasized the importance of teamwork and a focus on results.

“Our common task is to build a productive system. It is important to use state resources and funds efficiently; not just to participate, but to defend the honor of the country and deliver results. There must be accountability for every ruble invested.”

The meeting participants also discussed support for youth sports and the training of coaching staff and specialists. The international agenda was not overlooked either: the national federation has established strong ties with United World Wrestling (UWW), which last month lifted all restrictions on Belarusian athletes.
