
Alina Harnasko of Belarus has won a bronze medal at the FIG World Challenge Cup 2026 in Portimão, Portugal.
The Belarusian gymnast climbed to the third step of the podium in the ribbon exercise with a score of 28.100. Judges awarded higher marks to Cyprus’ Vera Tugolukova (28.850) and Italy's Tara Dragas (29.950).
Belarusian gymnast Nikol Leuta finished sixth in the same event with a score of 27.100. Both Belarusians also competed in the ball final: Alina Harnasko placed seventh (26.750), while Nikol Leuta finished eighth (25.700). The Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist performed her clubs routine, taking fifth place (27.700).
The previous day, in the all-around competition, Alina Harnasko finished fifth, while Paris 2024 Olympic champion Darja Varfolomeev of Germany placed ninth (105.650). Nikol Leuta finished 16th. The all-around gold went to Italy’s Sofia Raffaeli (113.250), the bronze medalist at the Paris Games.
For many athletes, the tournament in Portugal served as a preparation event for the 2026 European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics, which will be held in Varna at the end of May.
