Dear athletes, coaches, and sports professionals!
Please accept my sincere congratulations on Physical Education and Sport Workers Day.
This day unites everyone who has dedicated their lives to the development of sports and truly loves it: athletes, coaches, professionals, as well as numerous fans and active lifestyle enthusiasts. The resounding achievements of Belarusian athletes, of which we are immensely proud, are forever inscribed in the history of world sports, while new names continue to light up on the sporting horizon.
Sport is not only about records and medals; it is also about the health of the nation, strength of spirit, and the pursuit of excellence. The large-scale promotion of physical education is a key priority of state policy, and all conditions for both professional and amateur sports have been created in Belarus.
It is gratifying that in modern Belarusian society, more and more people are choosing a healthy lifestyle and regular sports for themselves and their families. Numerous top-tier sports facilities are filled with energy and movement, and sport brings health, the joy of connection, and a positive attitude to everyone.
Everything we have today in our sports sector is a shared achievement – a result of state support, as well as the selfless efforts of athletes, coaches, sports veterans, and every member of our large sports family. I would like to express my gratitude to you. May your life’s work bring you pleasure and joy, and may every new start become another step forward in the development of our national sports.
Today our country is fully returning to the international sports arena. This opens up enormous opportunities for our athletes and teams, gives them new goals and prospects, additional motivation and a source of strength, and gives fans new emotions from long-awaited bright victories under the national flag and to the sound of the country’s national anthem.
I wish you all good health, happiness, resounding victories, and new achievements on the sporting Olympus! May sport unite and inspire!
