The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus has launched the Olympic Day in Sync with A1 project.
The Olympic Glory Hall gathered renowned athletes - medalists of the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Championships. Together with the athletes, the first training session was led by Belarus’ NOC President Viktor Lukashenko and A1 CEO Helmut Duhs.

The Belarus’ NOC head noted that this year, the well-known Olympic Day project will take place in a new format, supported by the general partner A1, as well as the Minsk City Hall, the Sports Ministry of Belarus, and other companies.

“We hope this format will be enjoyed not only by children and young people but also by the older generation. After all, our goal is to attract as many people as possible, Belarusians and visitors, to take part in our sports celebration. I am confident that sport is multifunctional. By staying active, supporting a healthy lifestyle, and collecting ‘minutes of kindness’ together, we all will make a personal contribution to a shared charitable cause, with funds going to those who need them most. I am sure today’s training session in the Olympic Glory Hall will be active, bright, and energetic, giving us a boost of vitality, and on 27 June we will meet at the Dinamo Stadium to wrap up our joint celebration,” said Viktor Lukashenko.
“Let as many people as possible take part in our initiative together with the NOC of Belarus. We are holding our training session in the Olympic Glory Hall, surrounded by portraits of champions. It is an honor. I am very glad that we too will be able to make a small contribution to the development of physical education and sport,” said A1 CEO Helmut Duhs.

Belarus’ NOC Secretary General and two-time Olympic medalist Ksenia Sankovich shared her impressions of the first Olympic Day in Sync with A1 training session.
“It’s great to work out together. You see others struggling, and it pushes you forward. The coaches really encourage you, and you want to pedal faster, you don’t want to fall behind. It’s an excellent initiative that energizes and inspires. Absolutely any sport works for this project,” explained Belarus’ NOC Secretary General Ksenia Sankovich. “Not everyone likes running, cycling, or doing active step exercises or playing football. Here you can choose something to your liking - pilates, yoga, stretching, gymnastics - any type of activity works, as long as we all come together to collect a million minutes of kindness. This is all for us, for Belarusians. When we work together on one goal, everyone feels part of one big team, and that’s an amazing feeling!”

A1, the general partner of the NOC of Belarus, is one of the organizers of the Olympic Day with A1 project. First Deputy CEO of the communications leader Nikolai Yushkevich noted that anyone can join the initiative.
“This joint project with the Olympic Committee is a continuation of A1’s strategy aimed at addressing important social issues, including supporting society and developing a culture of healthy living. This is a large-scale nationwide project that combines sport and charity. Anyone can take part,” said A1 First Deputy CEO Nikolai Yushkevich.
