NOC President Viktor Lukashenko congratulates Aleksandr Maseykov on his 55th birthday

Viktor Lukashenko noted that the victory of the renowned athlete alongside Dmitry Dovgalyonok at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics is a symbol of extraordinary willpower, exceptional skill, and unwavering sporting character, serving as an inspiration for new generations of athletes.

“After retiring from sport, you proved yourself as a talented organizer and leader, successfully and productively fulfilling your duties as a deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. Today, as director of the National Olympic Training Center for Rowing Sports, you are devoting considerable time and energy to supporting gifted youth and promoting a healthy lifestyle,” the congratulatory message reads.

The head of the National Olympic Committee wished the jubilarian good health, well being, and further achievements for Belarusian sport.
