Gold medal for Belarusian Khondoshko in Paris

Vasilina Khondoshko won the gold medal at the 2026 European Aquatics Championships in synchronized (artistic) swimming, which is taking place in Paris.

In the solo free routine, the Belarusian performed well in the qualification, taking first place. In the final, Vasilina performed her difficult routine without errors and received 292.388 points from the judges.

Second place went to Klara Blayer from Germany – 289.264, and the bronze medalist was Iris Tio Casas from Spain – 284.555.

In the current season, the Belarusian was among the leaders at World Cup stages, and in 2025 at the World Championships in Singapore, she won silver and bronze medals.

In Paris, Khondoshko will also compete in the solo technical routine. Medals in this discipline will be awarded on August 4.
