CAS to adjudicate in Belarus’ litigation against International Weightlifting Federation (IWF)

Today, on January 27, the CAS presided over the case of the BWF against the IWF.  

There the NOC Belarus’ legal specialists and law firm “Danilevich and Volozhinets” appeared for the BWF, - reports the NOC Belarus. The court heard an appeal of the Belarusian side against the IFW decision to suspend the national team from sports activities for reason of anti-doping violations at the London 2012 and Beijing 2008.

According NOC Belarus Secretary General Anatol Kotau in his official visit to Lausanne, the CAS ruling on the case would have been submitted to both sides by March 3.
