Belarusian athletes win silver of IAAF/BTC World Relays Bahamas 2017

The Belarusian quartet obtained the 4x800m relay silver medals at the World Championship proceeding during April 22-23 in the Bahamas.

The foursome of Maryna Arzamasava, Daryia Barysevich, Ilona Vusovich and Viktoriya Kushnir clocked second in 8.20,07, giving way to the USA winners with a results of 8.16,36. Australians finished third (8.21,08).

As the third phase of the race passing, Viktoriya Kushnir advanced the team to the second position. Maryna Arzamasava made up some ground in the decisive stage and finally got the silver of the event.

It’s noteworthy it’s the first time Belarus qualified for these World Relays and was introduced in a single discipline among strongest athletes worldwide.
