Her victory was predictable since she six times prevailed and was the leader of the season.
Earlier Alina won one bronze on the World Indoor Championship 2012, a silver medal on the European Indoor Championship 2013, two silver medals on the European Team Championship 2011 and the European Championship 2012, as well as one gold on the European Junior Championship 2011 and gained victory on the World Military Games 2011.
‘I hardly believe that tomorrow I will be awarded a gold medal. Four years ago I won the Junior Championship in Ostrava, now I’m the triumphant with an ‘adult gold’. It seems that the Czech Republic favors me’ shared her emotions Alina with www.noc.by.

-    How did you feel just before the final race? You’ve got multiple achievements on the previous tournaments.

-    I wished everything to be all right. I mistook many times, which disappointed me, when something went wrong. So did happen in the final race, so in the final I couldn’t but thinking of victory. I am so glad to have set a national record. I tried to do my best and succeeded as a result.

-    Whom do you devote your victory?

-    This is the triumph of my motherland and my family who gave me a birth and upbringing and bear me. I’m so grateful to my coaches Alexander Gutin, Viktor Myasnikov and Phillip Ulfrid.

-    How can you assess Ulfred’s contribution to your victory?

-    He’s been my coach for four month already. I was in mess when he took me under the wing. I had a great deal of mistakes, especially by the finish line. But he helped me to overcome difficulties and enhance my running techniques.

-    It’s a bit weird that your coach is a foreigner. Do you have any misunderstandings?

-    Other approaches and environment as well as obstacles in communication on the ground of language difference. This is another challenge as a few Austrians are anglophones. Now I have to master the German language . Still I made my decision.

-    What do you think of the World Championship in Beijing?

-    I will be in competition with best world athletes.

-    Are you going to celebrate our triumph?

-    Sure! I’ll take some sweets – haven’t tasted it for ages.
