Rio 2016. Vadzim Straltsou won silver medal in Weightlifting

Today on August 13 Belarusian weightlifter Vadzim Straltsou (-74kg) became a silver medalist of the Olympiad, reports the NOC of Belarus.

Vadzim scored 395 points. The new Olympic champion Iranian Sohrab Moradi won a gold medal (403kg), Lithuanian AurimasDidžbalis (392kg) was awarded a bronze one.

Aliaksandr Bersanau became 8th (381kg).

“I knew the whole country was waiting another medal, so I tried hardest to satisfy expectations. Thanks for your support!” - said Vadzim.

Belarus occupies the 23rd position in medal score.
