Rio 2016. Rhythmic gymnasts Staniouta and Halkina qualified for final

Today on August 19 two Belarusian rhythmic gymnasts overcame qualification round and made it into the final all-round, according to the NOC of Belarus.

According to the performance results of Melitina Staniouta in four exercises (rope, hoop, ball, and clubs), she scored 72.575 points and took the 4th position.

Katsiaryna Halkina scored 70.132 points and passed 9th to the final round. 10 of 26 gymnasts will compete in the final event, with 2 Belarusian girls among them.

For now the National Team counts 6 awards: a gold medal (Uladzislau Hancharou, Trampoline), three silver (Darya Naumava and Vadzim Straltsou, Weightlifting; Maryia Mamashuk, Freestyle Wrestling) and two bronze ones (Aliaksandra Herasimenia, Swimming; Javid Hamzatau, Wrestling Greco-Roman).
