Presentation of European University Sports Association

As part of the Seminar for the European media vice-president of the European Association of Sports Universities (EUSA) Leonz Eder made a presentation to the delegates. 

The European Universitу Sports Association (EUSA) was established in 1999. It includes national associations of specialized educational institutions of 25 countries. EUSA cooperates with the International University Sports Federation.

The structure of the organization comprises general assembly, executive committee, audit companies, commissions (technical, medical, student, etc.) and office.Adam Roczek is an incumbent EUSA President.

The European University Sports Association’s activity includes an organization of sports competitions and Universiades, educational conferences and seminars, support of different projects such as photo competitions, briefings on gender equality, etc. 

Within the framework of his visit to Belarus, which took place for the first time, Mr. Eder held at the headquarters of the NOC of Belarus meeting with the First Vice President Maxim Ryzhenkov, chairman of the Belarusian Association of University Sports, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Zhuravkov, deputy chairman of the Belarusian Association of Student sports director of the institution "National Center for physical Education and Sport of pupils and students," Valentina Balyabo.
