Buenos Aires 2018: judoka Artsiom Kolasau win first Belarus’ gold

The first competitions day of the III Youth Olympic Games 2018 marked the triumph of Belarus’ judoka Artsiom Kolasau who conquered the gold medal in the weight category up to 55kg.

On his way to the gold, Artsiom defeated Mongolian Temuujin Ganburged.

Artsiom Kolasau is the Junior European Championship 2018 winner.

Before bringing down the opponent from Mongolia in the final round, Artsiom beat Romain Valadier Picard from France and Daniel Leutgeb from Austria in ¼ and ½ finals, in turn.
