Belarus announces canoe/kayak roster for Paris Games qualification

Belarus announced its canoe sprint/kayak line-up for the European Olympic qualifying tournament in Szeged, Hungary on 8-9 May.

Team Belarus includes:
Men
Oleg Yurenya (K-1 1000m)
Uladzislau Kravets, Dzmitry Natynchyk (K-2 500m)
Ivan PATAPENKA (C-1 1000m)
Vitali Asetski, Uladzislau Paleshko (C-2 500m)

Women
Alina Svita (K-1 500m)
Veranika Leaniuk, Maryia Kavalenka (K-2 500m)
Yuliya Trushkina (C-1 200m)
Anhelina Bardanouskaya, Volha Klimava (C-2 500m)

The winners and runners-up will qualify for the Paris Games this summer.

The Paris Games will include 10 medal events (five for men and five for women).

The canoe/kayak program will be running at the Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium, which is located 39km away from the Olympic and Paralympic Village, from 6 to 10 August.
