Belarusian athletes have won licenses for the Paris-2024

The European rowing and Canoeing qualification tournament for the 2024 Olympic Games was held in Szeged. Belarusians have three licenses.

At a distance of 1000 m among single kayaks (K1), the experienced Aleh Yurenya won the decisive race.

Yulia Trushkina, a 21-year-old Homel resident, showed the best time in the 200 m canoe final.

As reported, a day earlier, Angelina Bardanouskaya and Volha Klimava became the best in the 500 m canoe race.

Kirill Maskevich successfully passed the world Olympic qualification in Greco-Roman wrestling in Istanbul. He competed in the 87 kg category and managed to defeat Turpal-Ali Bisultanov (Denmark) in the decisive match.

In classical wrestling, Timur Berdyev (77 kg) and Pavel Hlinchuk (130 kg) did not lose their chances for permits, who will try to qualify through the bronze round.

According to the rules of Olympic qualification, the winners of semifinal duels and bronze (consolation) bouts receive a ticket to the 2024 Olympic Games.

Maskevich has obtained the 24th qualification place for the Belarusians to compete at Paris 2024 Olympics.
