The National Olympic Committee representatives learned about the organization of the upcoming tournament, including accommodation, accreditation, transport, catering, medical support, volunteer assistance, and other key aspects.

Brașov boasts a well-developed winter sports infrastructure. The guests inspected the Cheile Grădiștei area, which will host biathlon, figure skating, short track speed skating, and ski mountaineering events, before moving on to Predeal, home to the cross-country skiing and snowboarding tracks. The delegations also visited the second Athletes’ Village and the ski resort in Poiana Brașov.

“The organizers have excellent experience in staging competitions, and all sports venues are in great condition. Back in 2013, this region already hosted the festival, which was remembered for its flawless organization,” Vasily Yurchik noted.

More than 20 young Belarusian athletes plan to compete in the 2027 Winter EYOF. The competitions will take place on 14-21 February.
