Vitaly Sokolovsky was elected chairman of the Belarusian Fencing Federation

On 15 November a reporting and election conference of the Public Association “Belarusian Fencing Federation” was held at the NOC Belarus headquarters.

One of the main issues of the conference was the election of governing bodies.

Vitaly Sokolovsky, who previously served as the Acting Chair of the BFF, was elected Chairman of the Fencing Federation.

Before the start of the conference, the 1988 Olympic champion Alexander Romankov, who turned 70 on 7 November, was honored. A congratulatory address from the Head of the National Olympic Committee Viktor Lukashenko and a memorable gift from the NOC of Belarus were presented by Acting Secretary General Ksenia Sankovich.
