Viktor Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to NOC Executive Board member Dmitry Baskov

President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko stated in his message of greetings that Dmitry Baskov is well-known both in the country and beyond its borders as a man who has devoted his entire life to sports, and ice hockey in particular.

“Today your expertise and teamwork skills help you succeed as a sports functionary and a talented coach,” the message of greetings reads. “Your achievements include both sporting merits and successful work as a member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. Today you are investing a lot of energy and effort to develop sports in our country, support gifted youth and promote a healthy lifestyle,” the message of greetings runs.


Viktor Lukashenko wished Dmitry Baskov strong health, wellbeing, and good luck in the implementation of new projects for the benefit of Belarusian sport.
