On the International Day of Sport, the presentation of the socially-oriented cycle project of NOC of Belarus and AIST JSC Motovelo took place, the press center of NOC of Belarus reports.

“Employees of NOC of Belarus are, of course, officials, but they are sports officials”, – Maxim Ryzhenkov, the first vice-president of NOC of Belarus, noted. “Therefore, there was a joint initiative of NOC and the JSC Motovelo enterprise to fulfill this project in the district of the capital where many sports centres and facilities are located. In front of the NOC headquarters, a bicycle parking with the first rolling AIST bicycles for employees and guests will be established.”

AIST bicycles are produced by JSC Motovelo, one of the leading cycle and motorcycle producers in the territory of the CIS. This company provides technical support to the national cycling team of Belarus. It is on AIST bicycles that the Belarusian sportswomen set the Olympic record and 2 national records on bicycle track at the Olympic Games in London. The AIST brand was the official partner of the World Cycling Championships 2013 in Minsk. Now that the leading athletes of the national team of Belarus have performed on AIST bicycles, here comes the time of NOC staff and guests.

After the press conference all participants had the opportunity to test the new AIST bicycles.
