From September 18 to 21, an Olympic qualifying tournament in figure skating will be held in Beijing. For tickets to the Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Evgeny Puzanau and Victoria Safonova will compete in singles skating.
Athletes need to finish in the top five.
The competitions in China's capital, where representatives of women's and men's single skating, pairs and ice dancing will perform, will take place at the National Sports Palace.
At the qualifying tournament in Beijing, holders of remaining quotas will be determined: five in men's singles and five in ladies' singles, six in pair skating (three duos) and eight in dance (four duos). Each NOC can only count on one quota per discipline.
At the Winter Olympics, the figure skating competition will take place from February 6 to 19, 2026, at the Milano Ice Arena. At the 2022 Beijing Olympics, Victoria Safonova finished 13th in women's singles skating.
