NOC Executive Board: List of media for Paris Games approved

Today, on 26 October, the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus held a meeting to consider a number of topical issues.

Accreditation of Belarusian media for the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris 2024 has started, and the Board approved the qualitative composition of a Belarusian media delegation for the upcoming Games (accreditation by name will start in the autumn of 2023). This matter was previously discussed at a meeting of the Communications Commission of the NOC of Belarus.

The Executive Board approved the temporary recognition of the public association "Belarusian Federation of Urban Sports" and the changes to the composition of the permanent Communications Commission of the NOC of Belarus.

Other topics related to the current activities of the organization were also considered.

The Commission is a public, collective, advisory body under the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

In its activities, the Commission is guided by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, the Olympic Charter, its own Charter, decisions of the Olympic Assembly, the Executive Board of the NOC of Belarus, the Commission for Public Affairs of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Marketing and Communication Commission of the European Olympic Committees (EOC).

The main tasks of the Commission are to ensure extensive media coverage of the achievements of the national and world Olympic movement, activities of the NOC of Belarus; to consider issues of accreditation of mass media to cover the performance of Belarusian athletes in the Olympic Games and other international sports events held under the auspices of the IOC, the EOC and the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC).

The commission is composed of full-time employees and members of the NOC of Belarus, representatives of the media, creative associations of journalists, organizations of physical education and sports, and government bodies of the Republic of Belarus.
