On June, 25 the tournament in trampoline gymnastics has completed. The gold was claimed in Men’s Individual trampoline by Rio 2016 Olympic Champion Uladzislau Hancharou.
Uladzislau won the qualifications round with a big advantage and repeated his success in the finals with a total score of 60.045. The silver went to the Russian athlete Mikhail Melnik (59.435), and the Portuguese athlete Diogo Ganchinho took the bronze (58.660).
Uladzislau Hancharou: «Yesterday I made a foolish mistake in my routine that’s why today I’ve pulled myself together. I failed to show my best combination, however it was enough for a win. It was nice to be the part of the competition, to feel the spirit of rivalry. And it played its key part sinсe there’s no interest in jumping if there’s no one to compete with. Women’s team produced a great routine. 50 points in Synchronized trampoline is an impressive result. 5 years ago our Men’s team used to score 48-49 points. So, girls did great».

Congratulations to Uladzislau and the whole Belarusian trampoline gymnastics team on showing excellent results!
