Seminar for the European media. Best Athlete of the Year-2014 Award – Footballer Manuel Neuer.

There is quite an enjoyable event on the Congress AIPS Europe schedule: participation in Best Athletes of the Year-2014 award ceremony according to the European sports journalists’ choice.

Later, the representatives of the media will meet Darya Domracheva in the Republican Centre of Olympic training in Raubichi. During the Seminar for the European media, Yannis Daras, AIPS Europe President, introduced a video presentation of the Best Athlete-2014, football player Manuel Neuer to the guests.

Footballer of the Year in Germany, Manuel Neuer won World Cup-2014 with his team. At the end of the world championship, he also became the owner of the Golden Glove traditional award.
In his video address to the participants of the Congress, Manuel Neuer thanked the family of the European sports journalists for this title and noted that he appreciated this great honour.
“It’s not just my personal award, it belongs to our national team, to my collegues, to my football club Bayern Munich. We have managed to have two titles with my club and to win the World Cup in Brazil. We’ve made excellent performances. I’m satisfied and happy”, Manuel Neuer said.
Answering the question “Do you want to send any message to the new generation?”, Neuer said that sports, and football in particular, is a way of life. Every day we must try to improve ourselves, to enjoy sports and have goals. When you have a goal, you can find the way to achieve it.
