
HC Dinamo Minsk solved HC Amur Khabarovsk in a shootout to top the Western Conference on 2 December.
The final score was 3-2.
The regulation time of the match in Khabarovsk ended in a 2-2 tie, with Nikolai Salygo and Daniil Lipsky scoring for the visitors. In the post-match shootout series, the Bisons proved more accurate, with Vitaly Pinchuk, Darren Dietz, and Sam Anas all finding the target.
“It was a good game from both teams. We played a strong third period. Although we conceded a shorthanded goal, we controlled the situation. We executed the shootouts well and are happy with the win. We are heading home,” said Dmitry Kvartalnov.
After this match, Dmitry Kvartalnov’s team has 47 points after 32 games and leads the standings.
On this road trip, the Bisons earned six out of possible six points, having previously defeated HC Torpedo (2-1) and HC Admiral (4-1). The Minsk squad now enters a two-week break, coinciding with the Belarusian national team’s participation in the 2025 Channel One Cup in Novosibirsk. HC Dinamo Minsk will be back in action on 16 December against HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
