HC Dinamo Minsk completed their run in one of their best seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
Numerous fans are still sad about the Bisons’ defeat in the second round of the KHL playoffs against HC Traktor, but there were many great and positive moments for the team in the recently completed season.
The Bisons advanced to the second round of the KHL playoffs for the first time in their history.
HC Dinamo Minsk is the best team in goals per shot percentage in the 2024/25 KHL playoffs.
206 goals scored in the regular season is a record for the hockey club. The team's previous record was 180 goals last season.
Legendary forward Vadim Shipachev set a new record for points in the KHL with HC Dinamo Minsk - 980 points (305+675) in 1,062 games.
The Bisons finished fourth in the Western Conference in the 2024/25 KHL regular season and kicked off their playoff campaign on the home ice for the first time ever. This is the club's best result in the KHL history. The previous best performance of HC Dinamo Minsk was the fifth place in the 2014/15 and 2016/17 seasons.
In the playoff series against HC CSKA, the Bisons showed a confident performance, even securing a 7-0 victory in one of the matches against the Army men.
Yegor Borikov is a new record holder of HC Dinamo Minsk in career points among players under 20. Earlier, this achievement belonged to NHL forward Aliaksei Protas, who played for HC Dinamo Minsk in the 2020/21 KHL season. Then he had 18 (10+8) points in 58 games. Yegor Borikov scored 19 (9+10) points in 57 games. This achievement of the U20 player is the highest in the history of the Bisons' performance in the KHL. During the regular season Yegor Borikov scored 25 (12+13) points in 67 games. In the playoffs, Yegor Borikov repeated (seven goals) Evgeny Kuznetsov's record for goals scored in the KHL among players under 20.
Forward Vadim Moroz repeated the club’s record for goals scored in the championship. His achievement is 26 goals. The same number of goals were scored by Matt Ellison (in the 2009/10 season) and Geoff Platt (2015/16).
