The Sport and Health Week campaign covering all regions of Belarus was launched in a ceremony in the Hall of Olympic Glory of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus on 22 September.
The event also featured a ceremony to honor winners and medalists in rhythmic gymnastics of the FISU World University Games and an intellectual competition for students “Experts of Olympism" by the Belarusian Olympic Academy.
Chairman of the Belarusian Student Sports Association, Olympic champion in canoe sprint Aliaksandr Bahdanovich congratulated the medalist of the Games in rhythmic gymnastics, champion of the 2025 World University Games Alina Harnasko, and Universiade bronze medalist Anastasiia Salos on their success in Stuttgart.
Team Belarus overall result in Germany was five medals (2 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze). Alina Harnasko won gold in the individual all-around and in the clubs exercise.
The 32nd FISU World University Games is taking place in the Rhine-Ruhr region. The rhythmic gymnastics tournament was held in the city of Essen. In total, the student competitions have gathered over 8,000 athletes from 115 countries. The World Summer Universiade features 18 medal events.
According to the results of the Olympic Quiz, the first place went to the team from the Belarusian State University, the second to the Belarusian State Economic University, and the third to students from school No.47.
Our prominent athletes wished the students success not only in sports but also in their studies.

The Sport and Health Week will feature competitions in various sports, workshops, events, and many more, open for participation of students from educational institutions, additional education institutions for children and youth, and specialized educational and sports institutions.
