Darya Domracheva: “It is incredible! I am so happy!”

Darya Domracheva took over the baton from Dzinara Alimbekava in the 4th position (+17.1). She passed clear the first shooting range in prone, but had to use three extra shells while standing. Domracheva secured Belarus’ leadership until finish.

“All I needed was to retain the result of my predecessors. It is always a pleasure to stand on the Olympic podium, especially with the team. I think the whole Belarus feel my emotions!”

Darya expressed her gratitude to all fans. “Today we can celebrate this victory together. It is incredible! I am so happy! I want to thank all my team: girls, who accomplished a titanic work; coaches, who prepared our skis and were encouraging us both at the biathlon centre and in front of the screens throughout the Olympic Games. I am so excited to have impressed everyone!” – noticed the famous biathlete.
