Belarusian skiers cleared to compete in Olympic qualifying events

The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has published a list of the first nine athletes from Belarus and Russia who have been granted Individual Neutral Athlete (AIN) status.

The neutral status has been granted to Belarusian freestyle skiers Hanna Huskova, Anna Derugo, Anastasiya Andryianava, Ihar Drabiankou, and Uladzislau Vazniuk, as well as alpine skier Maria Shkanova. Three Russian athletes are also on the list.

The mentioned athletes will be eligible to participate in qualification events for the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy.

LIST OF ATHLETES

Olympic quota spots in freestyle skiing will be allocated based on a qualification ranking earned over the course of five World Cup stages in the 2025–26 season.

The first one has already taken place in Ruka, Finland, on 6 December. The second stage will be held at the Chinese Olympic complex Secret Garden on 20-21 December. Three more stages are set for 6-7 January, 11-12 January, and 16-18 January.
