Basketball Olympic champion Ivan Edeshko awarded NOC Belarus Honorary Certificate

Owing to contribution to the development of the Olympic Movement, mass and elite sports in the Republic of Belarus, Olympic champion and merited master of sports in basketball Ivan Edeshko is awarded the Honorary Certificate of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

On 28 December, Edeshko paid a visit to the NOC Belarus headquarters and had an excursion around the Hall of Olympic Fame and Olympic Museum.

At the end of his visit, Edeshko left a message in the NOC Belarus’ Register of Honorable Guests.

As a role model to compatriots, Ivan Edeshko was invited to present a first night docudrama about sensational victory of the Soviet basketball team over the USA opponents at the Olympic Games 1972.
