Renald Knysh passed away

On the night of 19 April renowned coach in gymnastics, Olympic champion coach Renald Knysh passed away. He was 88.

Renald Knysh was born on 10 September, 1931 in Kopyl (Minsk region). Since the early 1950s, he worked as a coach in gymnastics in the Grodno sports school for children. When he worked a coach, he invented dozens of new gymnastic elements.

Merited Coach of the USSR and the BSSR, Merited Sports Specialist of the BSSR, Illustrious Citizen of Grodno City.

National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus expresses its deepest sympathy condolences to the family and friends of Renald in connection with an irreparable loss.
