Nanjing 2014. Elvira Herman won a silver medal in athletics

Today, 23 August, at the second Summer Youth Olympic Games Belarusian athlete Elvira Herman won the silver medal in the 100 meter hurdles, - the NOC Belarus inform.

 Elvira Herman in the preliminary races showed the time 13.43. Belarusian started in the strongest medal race A and fighting for the gold medal. However, in the final she conceded just four hundredths of a second to the representative of France, who won with a time - 13.34. Result of the Belarusians is 13.34.

Elvira Herman won bronze at the European Youth Festival-2013  in Utrecht.

Now in the bank of the Belarusian team 3 medals: 1 gold and 2 silver.

Earlier gold in Rowing won Krystsina Staroselets and silver in judo Dmitry Miankou.
