Viktor Lukashenko congratulates Thomas Bach on his birthday

President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus in his congratulation stressed that the Olympic Movement is going through a challenging moment when it is necessary to fairly and objectively assess the state and ways of its further development.

«I am confident that under your leadership the International Olympic Committee will be able to find ways to resolve all differences and to unite a large Olympic family. In its turn, the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus hopes to continue and expand cooperation with the International Olympic Committee. Belarus, as one of the leading sports powers in the region, is interested in a close partnership with the IOC in further promotion of Olympic values and ideals», – the congratulation says.
