The I Games of the CIS countries finished in Kazan

The I Games of the CIS countries have finished in Kazan. Complex competitions were held in 16 sports, 182 sets of awards were played.

Belarusian athletes were able to win 69 medals: 8 gold, 32 silver and 29 bronze.

The first places at the First CIS Games were taken by Gleb Makarenko, Pavel Glinchuk (both-Greco-Roman wrestling), Fedor Koltun Evgeny Fedorinchik, Albina Posokh (all-Thai boxing), Pavel Muravyev (bullet shooting, pistol), Anastasia Grishchenko (sambo), Elizaveta Zorkina (rhythmic gymnast, ball exercise).

More than 1.5 thousand athletes took part in the competitions in Kazan, which took place from September 4 to 11 at the best venues in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan.
