Sabalenka's first title in the season-2023

Belarusians Arina Sabalenka became the winner of the tournament in Adelaide, Australia.

In the final match, the fifth racket of the planet beat Czech Linda Noskova – 6:3, 7:6 (7:4). 

For 24-year-old Arina Sabalenka, this is the 11th victory at tournaments under the auspices of the WTA. On the way to final, she beat Russian Lyudmila Samsonova – 7:6 (10:8), 7:6 (7:3), Czech Marketa Vondroushova (92) – 6:3, 7:5 and Romanian tennis player Irina-Kamelia Begu – 6:3, 6:2.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the tennis player on her success at the start of the season. The Head of State noted the iron endurance and self-control of the athlete. "I am sure we are waiting for a bright season in which you will be able to conquer the highest peaks of world tennis," the congratulation reads.
