President of the Belarusian NOC congratulates Sabalenka on victory in Melbourne

President of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko has congratulated Aryna Sabalenka on winning the Australian Open 2023 champion title.

The entire country closely followed Aryna's successes on the tennis courts of Melbourne throughout the tournament, Viktor Lukashenko said. 

"Your victory is a true triumph! Thanks to the talent, diligence and dedication you have achieved outstanding results and rightfully taken a worthy place in the world tennis elite. Millions of Belarusian fans are proud of your achievements and wish you new brilliant victories. You showed a true fighting spirit and lived up to the hopes!” the message of greetings said.

Viktor Lukashenko thanked Aryna and her coaching team for such a great result and wished them good health, successes and all the best!
