Andrei Aramnau won a silver medal at the World Weightlifting Championships in Thailand

During the competitions in Pattaya in the category (109 kg), the Olympic champion of Beijing performed all six set without errors and showed the result of 426 kg (198 kg + 228 kg). Winner – Simon Martirosyan of Armenia – 429 kg.

In the current season, Andrei Aramnau took second place at the European Championships in Batumi with the result of 411 kg, and Simon Martirosyan celebrated the victory again - 427 kg.

On 25 September, Yauheni Tsikhantsou won a gold medal in the category to 102 kg.

The World Weightlifting Championships will finish in Pattaya on 27 September.
