11 medals for Belarus at Children of Asia Games in Kuzbass

Belarusian athletes won eleven (one gold, five silver and five bronze) medals at the 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Sports Games.

Polina Sivets (speed skating) made the biggest contribution to Belarus’ medal haul securing one gold and two silver medals. Daniil Bychkov (short track) added one silver and two bronze medals.

The Belarusian team of 68 athletes under 16 competed in eight sports: ice hockey, snowboarding, ski jumping, cross-country skiing, short track, figure skating, speed skating and Alpine skiing. The team comprised champions and medalists of Belarusian national championships, record-setters in their age categories. Belarus secured medals in short track, ski jumping (Eva Bedritskaya), speed skating, cross-country skiing (friendship relays) and figure skating.
