Minsk 2019. Yury Shcherbatsevich claims first victory in rifle and pistol shooting

On June, 26, the sixth day of competitions, Belarusian team secured first victory in rifle and pistol shooting.

Yury Shcherbatsevich took silver in Men’s rifle 3 positions and scored a total of 460,9 points. The gold went to the Russian athlete Sergey Kamenskiy (461,6). 

Igor Basinskiy (the coach): "I’m very satisfied with Yury’s performance. It is not only a medal but it is also qualification to the Tokyo 2020 Games. Yury managed to recover after his surgery and trained well for the tournament. It is always difficult to compete on the home ground. And we’re glad we showed good results."
