Belarusian athletes win 14 medals at the World Cup in Hungary

In Szeged (Hungary) finished the World Cup in canoeing.

Marina Litvinchuk and Volha Khudzenka won gold medals in the Belarusian national team.

World champions in Hungary were also Elena Nozdreva in canoe-single (500m), Olga Klimova in canoe (5,000m), Oleg Yurenya in canoe (5,000m) and Stanislav Daineko / Dmitry Natynchik in canoe-pair (500m).

Nikita Borikov took second place in canoe (500m), Artem Kozyr in canoe (200m), Olga Khudenko became second in canoe (500m), Marina Litvinchuk, Olga Khudenko, Nadezhda Popok, Margarita Makhneva in the decisive race at 500m also won silver.

Bronze medals won by Marina Litvinchuk (canoe-single, 5000 m), Elena Nozdreva (canoe-single ,200 m), in canoe-pair at 500 m from Olga Klimova and Nadezhda Makarchenko and the four men’s crew in the canoe at a distance of 500 m, Andrey Bogdanovich, Eugene Tengel, Maxim Krysko and Vitaly Osetskiy.

In the medal sprint race, the Belarusian team won first place: six gold, four silver and four bronze medals. The second position in the German team.

Licenses for the Olympic Games in Tokyo (not registered) were played in 12 types of programs.

From each country in 2020, six athletes for men and women will be able to compete in Tokyo in kayaking, as well as three in a canoe. Thus, the general application of the national team for the 2020 Olympic Games should not exceed 18 people.
