Beijing 2022 announces legacy decision-making committee

The governance structure defines who amongst Beijing 2022 and its respective stakeholders is responsible for delivering each legacy project before, during and after the Games so that the citizens of Beijing will benefit from the Games for decades to come.

The Legacy Coordination Committee itself will serve as the decision-making body for those projects, reviewing internal and external efforts related to Beijing 2022.

It will consist of representatives from key groups such as the General Administration of Sport of China, the China Disabled Persons' Federation and the Beijing Olympic City Development Association (BODA), as well as relevant ministries of the State and relevant government departments of Beijing Municipality, Hebei Province and Zhangjiakou City.

As the next step in its planning process, Beijing 2022 will release its full legacy plan later this month.
